KORDE Rosado
Blend of red and white varieties. D.O. Ribera del Duero
Folklore, made avant-garde
An ageworthy clarete that honours Ribera’s most authentic winemaking tradition, seen through a fresh lens that lifts it far from the commonplace.
Best Rosé Wine in Spain | Wine Enthusiast
A tribute to tradition that opens onto an unexpected horizon.
Beneath its vibrant hue beats a spirit of celebration, memory and transformation.
A wine so flavourful and expressive it cannot be ignored.
KORDE ROSÉ EMBODIES THE JOY OF LIVING.
«It’s pithy and bitter and aromatic with an underlying sweetness. I hope PINEA never change the way they make this wine. »
Jancis Robinson
«An excellent rosé that shows some depth and serious structure»
James Suckling

- In an unexpected corner of northern Ribera del Duero, at 915 metres above sea level, lies a vineyard planted in 1960 with an uncommon purpose: to bring a clarete to life. Bobal, Tempranillo, Garnacha and other red and white varieties are interplanted here, a varietal mosaic seldom seen today.
- Ungrafted vines —living heritage that barely survives in Spain—take root on sandy-limestone terraces. It is a landscape of gentle slopes and rounded contours, closer to uplands than to the postcard image of Ribera. Three generations of the same family have tended these vines, preserving intact the essence of an unrepeatable place.
- A bold wine that, with its complexity, freshness and vibrant personality, surprises and captivates all who encounter it. Precise, taut, conceived to evolve with time. An ageworthy clarete…
- Elizabeth Gabay –the world’s only Master of Wine specialising in rosé– hailed KORDE Rosé as the finest beyond Provence. “… Gorgeously mellow. Mouthwatering acidity, rich and mouth filling with a touch of minerality. Simply delicious and a serious wine.” – Elizabeth Gabay (MW) – 95 Points | Decanter
Tasting notes
Aging: 2 winters Cellaring potential: 15 years
A clarete of limpid, luminous cherry-pink hue.
On the nose it is intense, with ripe strawberry and a citrus backbone that brings tension, over delicate creamy notes from ageing on lees.
On the palate it is fresh, incisive and vibrant, with an enveloping texture and a mouth-watering, juicy finish that lingers and invites another sip.
Origin
Born in Calderón, a vineyard planted in 1960 at 915 metres above sea level with a singular purpose: to give life to a clarete.
Here, ungrafted vines—living heritage that scarcely survives in Spain—sink their roots into sandy-limestone terraces, open to the calm of a landscape of rolling hills and rounded forms, closer to uplands than to Ribera’s usual postcard.
This varietal mosaic is led by Bobal and Tinta Fina, alongside Garnacha, Albillo and Pirulés. Reds and whites grow interlaced—approximately 65% and 35% respectively—and, once brought together in the cellar, yield a wine where diversity turns to harmony.
The vineyard breathes juniper, thyme and lavender; this vegetation subtly infuses the grapes, imprinting the signature of an exceptional terroir.

Viticulture and harvest
Hand-picked in the early morning to preserve freshness and keep the skins firm. In the winery, a second, meticulous selection on the sorting table retains only the finest bunches.
We work the land with utmost respect for its environment—allying with biodiversity and time-honoured practices—so the fruit can shine as the protagonist and a true reflection of its terroir.

Wine-making and aging
After a brief seven-hour maceration in tank, a delicate saignée yields the free-run must (mosto flor), prized for its pale colour and purity.
Fermentation takes place in 500-litre barrels of varying age.
The wine then rests on fine lees for 18 months, gaining texture, complexity and depth without surrendering the freshness of its origin.

Serving recommendation
Ready to enjoy upon release, though it will reach its sweet spot about a year after bottling.
Best served at 8–9 °C.
