KORDE Rosé 2023
Tempranillo. DO Ribera del Duero
An ageworthy clarete that honours Ribera’s most authentic winemaking tradition, seen through a fresh lens that lifts it far from the commonplace.

- A bold wine that, with its complexity, freshness and vibrant personality, surprises and captivates all who encounter it.
- The 2023 growing season began with a relatively mild and dry winter, free of extreme weather events, allowing for an early and even budburst. The vines entered the cycle in good balance after a peaceful dormancy.
- During the spring, moderate temperatures and well-distributed rainfall favored regular flowering and good bunch formation. Vegetative development was harmonious, with good ventilation and health in the vineyard.
- Summer was warm and dry, marked by significant diurnal temperature shifts. These conditions favoured
a slow and balanced ripening, preserving both the freshness and the natural acidity of the grapes.

A clarete of limpid, luminous cherry-pink hue.
The nose is intense, with ripe strawberry aromas and a citrusy backdrop that brings tension,

On the palate it is fresh, incisive and vibrant, with an enveloping texture and a mouth-watering, juicy finish that lingers and invites another sip.
KORDE Rosé 2023, in detail
Alcoholic content: 14%
Own vineyards:
KORDE Rosé is born in “Los Frutales”, a singular plot within our Cardisanto estate, named after the apple and walnut trees that grow alongside the vines. Situated at 900 metres above sea level, this southwest facing slope rests on a clay tongue that emerges from the heart of the moorland. Its sun exposure is intense, and the loamy soils are notable for their high limestone content.
This wine is made from Tempranillo and a small proportion of Albillo Mayor (<10%).
Manual harvest:
The grapes were hand-harvested on 18 September, in the early hours of the morning, to preserve freshness and ensure optimal skin condition. The harvest was carried out in 12 kg boxes to avoid compacting the fruit. In the winery, a meticulous sorting process ensured that only perfectly healthy bunches continued to the next stage of winemaking.
Vinification and aging:
After a 7-hour maceration in tank, a delicate bleeding process was used to extract the free-run must, prized for its subtle and pale colour. The must was then transferred into 500-litre barrels of various previous uses, where it underwent fermentation and remained for 18 months aging on its fine lees.

“Korde rosé is both primal and modern. As such, it goes amazingly well with hot, spicy finger foods, such as Mexican tacos, Indian thali or Neapolitan pizza, refreshing their spicy power and refining the powerful flavour of these savoury dishes.”
